“Euro-Asia Air” Airline” JSC is the largest helicopter company in Kazakhstan and arranges service flights for oil and gas pipelines, flights to the offshore drilling units and islands in Kazakhstan sector of Caspian sea, flights for power lines service, flights to sanitary buildings, rescue works in emergencies etc.
“Euro-Asia Air” Airline” JSC uses the fleet of helicopters (18 units, incl. 12Mi-8T helicopters, 2 AS-365N3 Eurocopter helicopters, 4 AgustaWestland 139 helicopters) and passenger aircrafts (2 units, incl. North Caspian environmental response base (NCERB), owned by “KMG Systems & Services” LLP, is the only strategic facility of service infrastructure for oil operations support in the Caspian Sea shelf and the unique specialized facility for oil spills respond (OSR).
In August 2013, “KMG Systems & Services” LLP and NC Production Operations Company B.V. (NCPOC) – Kashagan project operator – concluded a long-term NCERB rental contract for 10 years.
Elimination of the third level oil spills (from 250 tons) is the huge complex of activities involving the local and international resources not only for oil spills elimination but also for firefighting, well control etc. Within this, Kashagan field operator eliminates third level oil spills and therefore will make decisions on involvement of specialized third party organizations of Oil Spill Response Limited type.
On April 6, 2012, Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan (№422) approved the National Plan for Oil Sills Prevention and Response in the sea and inland waters of the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed at dynamic, effective and qualified response to oil spills causing environmental contaminations and at carrying out operations to eliminate their impact.
According to this National Plan – measures on third level oil spills elimination are supervised by the National Commission for oil spills response.
“KazMunaiGas” NC JSC, represented by its subsidiary “KMG Systems&Services” LLP, and “Schneider Electric” company, one of the world leaders in the field of energy management and industrial automation, established joint venture – “KMG Automation” LLP. By using local human resources, this new entity plans to develop and implement projects on world class technological process automation for different industrial fields in Kazakhstan, firstly, for oil and gas sector.
The main objective of the joint venture is the development of local workforce capacity and deployment of local system assembly in Kazakhstan in the field of industrial automation, software and energy management. “Cargo Transport Route” implemented investment project.
Within this Project implementation, construction of the infrastructure in Prorva field of Atyrau region (ship channel, marine terminal, onshore facilities) is carried out, providing possibility of freight transport, reception, throughput and storage of large modules required for construction of the further TCO extending project. In future, the Project infrastructure can be used for other oil and gas projects development in the region.

The main objective of “KMG Drilling & Services” LLP is the establishment of local drilling service company, providing drilling and integrated services on international standards, the work on providing integration into the large oil and gas projects is being carried out.

“KMG Drilling & Services” LLP carries out construction of self-lifting floating drilling rig that is planned to be used for drilling services in Kazakhstan sector of Caspian Sea.

Within the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Government of RK and “Tengizchevroil” LLP on cooperation in order to support investments, education and training as well as employment in RK by means of the implementation of TCO LLP Project for further development and Project for wellhead pressure control No. 1228 dated 14.11.2013, April 21, 2015 signed the constituent documents of a joint venture among «KMG Drilling & Services» LLP and a world leader in oil and gas drilling company Nabors Drilling International Limited “ for implementation of TCO drilling program. The establishment of “KMG Nabors Drilling Company” LLP ensures the drilling sector development, allows to adopt the best practices, technologies and control system of Nabors, increase local content, train high quality personnel in the field of providing drilling services in accordance with the best world practice. In the longer term, the effective work in large oil and gas projects of RK as a drilling contractor is planned.

The main objective of “Directorate of enterprises under construction” LLP is control and supervision of the implementation of “Shipbuilding/ship-repairing yard in Kuryk village” project in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Cooperation agreement concluded between KMG NC and Eni Italian company.

Aim of the Project – construction and maintenance of the ships and facilities of Kazakhstan sector of Caspian Sea.
During 2014-2015, design and estimates documentation is being developed.
JSC NC KazMunaiGas together with the Russian company Sputnik-Integraсiya established an enterprise – AktauOilMash LLP.
Production facility of 25,000 m2 is established on the territory of KPI (Aktau). The land plot of 10 hectares on the territory of Aktau Sea Port FEZ is allocated for a new plant construction. The project engineering is conducted by JSC KING.
The manufacturing of the equipment that is required by the oil and gas companies is arranged on the basis of AktauOilMash LLP, in particular the instrumentation systems like gaging gas separators (Sputnik) and LACT units, rotating equipment:
- modular group pumping station (MGPS)
- oil pump station, boosting compressor station;
- conventional packaged equipment:
- valve manifold, chemical injection skid;
- power equipment: switchgear, packaged transformer substation.
The automation works are in progress: PCS, SCADA.
The following projects are realized and underway.
- For JSC Ozenmunaygaz: reconstruction of two MGPS, supply of de-emulsification unit (DEU), electric pump metering unit (EPMU), horizontal flow sedimentation tank (HFST), purchase and replacement of EPTS weared, Sputnik replacement, supply of modular gas separator. Supply of well screens, rod rotator.
- For JSC Karazhanbasmunay: 200 Karazhanbas field wells power supply construction and installation operations on as per the program 2015 “Well-drilling-2015”.
- For JSC Embamunaygas: Sputnik telemetry system, implementation of accounting system for the own needs, implementation of automatic fir fighting systems of tank battery, construction of oil custody metering station, replacement of transformers (Packaged outdoor switchgear, outdoor switchgear)
- For JSC Mangistaumunaygas: supply of EPTS.
Electric laboratory, nondestructive testing laboratory are started, which allows to expand the services range of AktauOilMash LLP.
It is planned to build the second and third stages of the Plant (Zhanaozen, Atyrau) and to expand the variety of equipment manufactured focused for the market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In future it is planned to drive up to the rated capacity output to meet the requirements of Kazakhstan market and start exporting.
