The KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC is a producer of crude oil, natural and associated gas from the own hydrocarbon reserves located onshore in Kazakhstan. The company is also actively implementing its exploration programme in order to maintain and develop the reserve base.
Among its own assets, the KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC has 41 fields in Western Kazakhstan, not including the acquisitions made during 2007-2010.
The company’s key business assets are its two production branches: Uzenmunaigas (OMG) and Embamunaygas (EMG), with the total production level of 177 thousand barrels of oil daily in 2010. The Uzen field is the largest one in KMG EP's core asset portfolio, it accounts for 73% of all reserves and 68% of the entire product output. The company's production units have been operating for over 90 years, and its specialists possess deep knowledge and extensive experience.
In 2006, the shares of the KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC were listed on the London Stock Exchange.
JSC "KazTransOil" is the largest oil pipeline company of the Republic of Kazakhstan, having at its disposal a powerful and branching network of trunk pipelines, which provides for oil transportation and water supply. Other core business areas of the company are generation, transmission and distribution of thermal power, transmission and distribution of electric power, transportation of natural gas by distribution pipelines for consumers in the Republic of Kazakhstan, operation and maintenance of trunklines owned by other legal entities.
The primary goal of activities of LP "NMSC "KazMorTransFlot" is to create a national maritime commercial fleet of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and to organize international marine transportation of domestic cargoes using its own resources
